Leonardo is an economist with 15 years of experience in environmental economics. Before joining CSF, Leonardo worked for the Environmental Economics Research Group at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) and the Brazilian Biodiversity Fund (Funbio), where he developed expertise in conservation finance, the design of financial mechanisms, payment for environmental services, and the valuation of ecosystem services. Leonardo earned his bachelor’s degree in economics at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and obtained a master’s degree in Public Policy and Development.
