Alison Dreizen is an attorney with more than four decades of global legal experience and strategic advisory work. She has represented financial institutions, private equity funds, industrial companies, NGOs and individuals on a wide range of complex transactions, with a particular focus on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and cross-border investments. Her work has spanned sectors such as energy, infrastructure, banking, shipping, and manufacturing, and has taken her to key markets across the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

As a Partner in the Sustainability Practice at the law firm, Kirkland & Ellis, Mackenzie advises private equity firms and public and private companies on the evolving legal landscape of sustainability and impact investing. With deep expertise in emerging regulations, investor priorities, and voluntary frameworks, Mackenzie helps clients navigate complex compliance challenges and identify strategic opportunities to drive long-term value. Mackenzie also spent five years advising on complex domestic and cross-border M&A transactions as part of Kirkland’s Corporate Practice Group.
