Supporting the Forestry Strategy for Bolivia's NDC's

CSF was present at the “Workshop to present the proposed indicators in the forestry sector to measure progress in Bolivia's NDC”.

Last Friday, July 12, in the city of La Paz, the Autoridad Plurinacional de la Madre Tierra (APMT) organized the workshop on the Presentation of Proposed Indicators in the Forestry Sector to Measure Progress in Bolivia's Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC).

Wadzanai Mafunga

She is a results-driven professional who is passionate about sustainable development particularly where economic development intersects with environmental sustainability. She has applied economic principles to address industry challenges, predominantly within the South African sugar industry.

Alejandra Gonzales Rocabado

Alejandra Gonzales Rocabado is an environmental economist specializing in climate finance and policy, and environmental valuation. At Conservation Strategy Fund, she leads initiatives linking finance and policy to advance forest conservation and climate action across Bolivia and the Amazon. Her work includes the analysis of investment needs and employment content of Bolivia’s NDCs, the Permanent Financing Project for Protected Areas, and the design of benefit-distribution mechanisms for the Lowering Emissions by Accelerating Forest finance Coalition.
