Rodrigo Gonzales Zuazo
Rodrigo Gonzales Zuazo is an environmental economist who joined CSF in 2025 as an Economic Analyst. He focuses on integrating environmental sustainability into economic analysis and decision-making, with experience spanning government, academia, and international organizations. Rodrigo contributed to the Bahamas’ 7th National Biodiversity Report, has represented Bolivia in international climate forums, and carried out fieldwork in rural lowland Bolivia examining community participation in conservation programs.

Managed by the Centro Científico Tropical (Tropical Science Center, TSC), Monteverde has long served as a global model for integrating research, education, and ecotourism with effective nature protection. To support the long-term conservation of this critical ecosystem, the Conservation Strategy Fund (CSF) partnered with the Tropical Science Center to conduct an economic valuation of Monteverde’s ecosystem services and cultural value.

International Crane Foundation (ICF)
The International Crane Foundation (ICF) and the Conservation Strategy Fund (CSF) have launched a landmark collaboration to design and advance conservation finance strategies across ICF’s global programs. Over a 12-month period beginning August 2025, CSF will provide strategic economic and financial advisory services to strengthen the long-term sustainability of crane and wetland conservation initiatives in key countries across Africa, Asia, and North America—including China, Kenya, Mongolia, Nepal, Rwanda, South Korea, Uganda, the United States, Vietnam, and Zambia.
