He is a financial auditor with more than 20 years of experience in administration, implementation of internal control systems, labor and tax advising, and financial monitoring of projects in different national and international NGOs.

COP16 Reflections: Nature is an investment

I have just returned from COP16 in Cali with mixed emotions of pride in how far we have come and an urgency to move even farther. If you remember, I attended the 15th COP in 2022 held in Montreal and I shared with you the seven things that CSF can contribute to the Global Biodiversity Framework, and more specifically on which targets we could apply our economic tools and capacity building expertise.

At COP16 in Cali, Colombia, Conservation Strategy Fund and the Humboldt Institute joined forces to present innovative financial instruments that promote, in a sustainable manner, the conservation of nature and strengthen the fundamental role of indigenous peoples in the protection of the region's ecosystems. The green zone of the COP in Colombia was the space where Alfonso Malky, Director for Latin America, and Pedro Gasparinetti, Director of Innovation, presented CSF's proposals for the sustainability of sensitive ecosystems and the indigenous communities that inhabit them.

Milenka Quisbert

Lenny Milenka joined CSF in 2024 as the Communications Coordinator in Bolivia. She holds two degrees, in Communications and Political Science. She received a scholarship from Nuffic (a Dutch organization for internationalization in education) to study abroad and holds a master’s degree in International Development Studies from Wageningen University in the Netherlands. Her experience includes conducting research on biofuels’ social aspects in São Paulo, Brazil.

Mohammad Hari Adipurna

Hari joined CSF in October 2024 as Administrative & Finance Assistant for our office in Indonesia. Before joining CSF, Hari worked in Project Administration at PLN ICON Plus, one of the Indonesian State-Owned Enterprises. Hari holds a bachelor's degree in Law from Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Gadjah Mada University. In his spare time, Hari enjoys traveling, reading, and tracking.
