Beto Mesquita is a Forest Engineer with a PhD in Environmental and Forests Sciences by Rural University of Rio de Janeiro, and a Master's Degree in Biodiversity Conservation by CATIE (Center for Tropical Agricultural Research and Education) in Costa Rica. He has been working for non-profit organizations for 24 years, leading projects on protected areas, forest restoration, landscape planning and multi stakeholders initiative.

El pasado nueve de marzo se presentaron en Bogotá los resultados de las investigaciones realizadas en Colombia por becarios y donatarios de la Unidad de Apoyo de ICAA. Durante el evento se contó con la participación de representantes de entidades de gobierno, ONG, universidades, miembros de la Unidad de Apoyo y socios de ICAA, y representantes de USAID. El público evidenció como las investigaciones, además de proveer información novedosa y análisis innovadores, ofrecen recomendaciones de política para mejorar los esfuerzos de conservación de la región.

Scott Edwards Joins CSF as Executive Director

Conservation Strategy Fund is thrilled to announce the appointment of Scott Edwards as Executive Director. Scott starts March 1, 2016 and will open a new headquarters for CSF in Washington, DC. CSF Founder John Reid will remain in California in the role of President, focused on strategy, program development and CSF research projects

18th annual International Course at UC Berkeley
