His most notable accomplishment was the creation of the "Mining Impacts Calculator," an innovative tool that has been widely used to assess damages of artisanal gold mining in several different countries. Pedro uses advanced statistical techniques and valuation methods, such as choice experiments, to estimate demand and values for intangible environmental goods.
