Roni is a Head of Environmental Science Doctoral Program, PPs Papua University, Papua, Indonesia. His research is entitled “Positioning Indigenous Papuan Fishermen in Small-Scale Fisheries in Manokwari Regency; Study of Social, Cultural, and Economic Aspects for Capture Fisheries Policy Formulation.” This research will identify the capture fisheries activities of Papuan and non-Papuan fishermen, including tools, catch, fishing fleet and catch targets, economic analysis of fishery households (Papuan and Non-Papuan fishermen), analysis of social, cultural, and institutional aspects formed in the community, and formulate capture fisheries policy for OAP fishermen in PSK.
