Leonardo Bakker is an economist with 10 years of experience in environmental economics. Prior to joining CSF he worked for the Environmental Economics Research Group at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and the Brazilian Biodiversity Fund (Funbio). His areas of expertise include conservation finance, the design of financial mechanisms, payment for environmental services and valuation of ecosystem services. He has a masters degree in Public Policy and Development from Rio de Janeiro Federal University.
