Julia Queiroz is an economist with experience in environmental economics, innovation, development and the green economy. Her work includes research and analysis of environmental public policies, socio-environmental financing, sustainable financial strategies for protected areas, and development of innovative tools and economic instruments for conservation. She has worked on numerous projects in partnership with NGOs, academia, international institutions and the public sector. Previously, she held positions at GIZ, UNDP, CEPAL and FUNBIO. Julia is finishing her PhD in Economics at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul. She also holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in Economics, both from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.
