Gisela Mendoza Sanchez joined CSF in March of 2013 as a volunteer English-Spanish translator. She is enjoying translating for CSF and learning about how we work to help the environment in Latin America.

Gisela grew up in Nicaragua. Although she has actively supported many types of organizations concerned with the environment, her primary interests are the environmental issues of Latin America.

She currently lives in San Jose, California, where she completed her Masters of Public Health. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology at Humboldt State University in Arcata, CA. While there, she expanded her interest in and knowledge about the environment.
