Pedro is a professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro Institute of Economics, where he teaches in the Graduate Program in Economics. He holds a bachelor's degree in Economics from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (2003), a master's degree from the Fundação Getulio Vargas (2007), and a PhD from Toulouse School of Economics (2013). He was a researcher at the Climate Policy Assessment Center (NAPC/PUC-Rio) from 2012 to 2014 and a professor in the Department of Economics at Rio de Janeiro State University from 2014 to 2018. His main areas of expertise are quantitative methods and microeconomics. He has taught undergraduate and graduate-level courses in statistics, calculus, linear algebra, microeconomics, game theory, industrial organization, finance, and behavioral economics.
