
Renzo Giudice
Renzo joined CSF in July of 2012 as an Economic Analyst. He has a Masters in Science in Research from the University of East Anglia from the UK, where he developed a land-cover change model for the area of influence of the new Interoceanica Sur Highway in the Peruvian Amazon, and an economic analysis of a common pool resource management regime in the Manu National Park. Renzo is a biologist who has worked in the Peruvian Amazon since 2001, researching birds of prey and human impacts on the abundance and distribution of neotropical mammals. Previously he worked at the Federal University of Minas Gerais, Brazil, in the development of spatially explicit rent models to determine optimal timber harvest fees in Peru and to assess the opportunity costs of reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation (REDD+) in Western Amazonia.
