Ngege Field is split almost in half between Buliisa and Masindi Districts and covers an area of 121 km2. Almost half of this Field lies in Murchison Falls National Park (in Masindi District).

The project components include; Construction of access roads and drill-pads, Drilling, Well-testing if required, Well-site and access road decommissioning, reinstatement and restoration.
Local contractors will be used for the Waste management, Earthworks and Supply of Murram.
Access roads will be reinstated based on whether a particular well-site will be temporarily restored, fully restored or maintained for production.
When a well-site is fully restored the associated access road will also, within the same time frame, be fully restored
