Aja joined CSF in 2011 as the Development and Communications Intern, where she worked in administration, marketing and outreach. She now works as a Development and Program Associate, focusing on donor relations, communications, fundraising coordination and project management. She graduated from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, with an emphasis in Management and Organization and a minor in Political Science. She has always been interested in conservation and policy work, and served as the Fundraising Coordinator for USC Volunteer Latin America where she had the opportunity to travel to Londres and Quebrada Arroyo, Costa Rica, to help with habitat conservation of the mono tití monkey. She has also volunteered in El Bale, Panama, helping indigenous honey farmers develop business plans.
